This is an international business and an occupation that the Scots take great pride in. In fact, it is not just a business, it can truly be described as a sort of 'love affair', an affair which consumes anyone and everyone involved in the creation of a fine whisky. For centuries it has been a man's affair, but more and more woman and entire families have joined the forces with sons and daughters following in the footsteps of their forefathers. After all, on some of these isles, there is 'wee little to do' other than dig the peat, harvest the barley and make the brew!
