Grandeur of the Grand Canyon, Arizona
Arizona, USA, October 2009. A nearly extinct Condor bird of prey. The Grand Canyon is a massive rift in the Colorado Plateau and is unmatched throughout the world for the vistas it offers to visitors on the rim. It is not the deepest canyon in the world, but Grand Canyon is known for its overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape. A roadtrip through the Western United States leads us through many impressive national parks. Photo by Frits Meyst/Adventure4ever.com
