Exploring the Antrim Coast Causeway in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Bushmills, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, May 2011. carrick-a-rede rope bridge between the steep white cliffs. Traditionally fishermen erected the bridge to Carrick-a-Rede island over a 23m-deep and 20m-wide chasm to check their salmon nets. For decades travellers stayed away from the sectarian violence, but since the end of'The Troubles' more and more people start discoving the beauty of Belfast and the Antrim Coast Causeway.
