Following the Soca river from the Julian Alps to the Adriatic Sea of Slovenia
Julian Alps, Slovenia, July 2011. The Lepena waterfalls are the most impressive of a series of falls in the Lepenjica stream, that runs through the forest and makes a great hike. Slovenia boasts a very spectacular carstic landscape with high limestone rock formations oozing with waterfalls, and fast flowing cristal clear waters that run through the Soca from the Triglav National Park to the Adriatic Sea.
