Living in a Fairy Chimney
Goreme, Cappadocia, Turkey, July 2005. Old shoes and a variety of other goods were left behind by the last owner, in the Roman Grave. Dutch Photographer Frits Meyst and his wife Jillian Macdonald restored an old rock house in the village of Goreme. Since Roman Times people have been cutting graves and home out of the Soft tufo 'Fairy Chmney' rocks of Cappadocia. Photo by Frits Meyst/Adventure4ever.com
