Piran, Julian Alps, Slovenia, July 2011. The old historical center of Piran, also known as Pirano, one of the few places on the Slovenian adriatic coast. Slovenia boasts a very spectacular carstic landscape with high limestone rock formations oozing with waterfalls, and fast flowing cristal clear waters that run through the Soca from the Triglav National Park to the Adriatic Sea.
