There are many remnants of the battles that occurred during World War I on the Soška fronta - Isonzo Front between Austrian Hungarian empire and Italy. Slovenia boasts a very spectacular carstic landscape with high limestone rock formations oozing with waterfalls, and fast flowing cristal clear waters that run through the Soca from the Triglav National Park to the Adriatic Sea.
